SERENBE SHOW HOUSE

SERENBE SHOW HOUSE

Last Thursday evening I took a trip to Serenbe to preview the Designer Showhouse.  I know......Im pretty lucky.

There isnt much I like better than a beautiful home [built by Monte Hewett and designed by J.P. Curran] with room after room designed by talented designers.

And....I was allowed to take pictures for you guys!

Lauren Deloach

Lindsay Woods
I loved this feather wallpaper....

Tami Ramsay & Krista Nye Schwartz

I walked around the corner to the master bedroom and came upon some black and white heaven.  Seriously....they had to call EMS to get me some oxygen.  It started with the wall fabric behind the bed from Laviva Home and fabrics from Clay McLaurin Studio
Window treatment.

Art....Clay McLaurin Studio.....kapow! Clay....I am in serious love with this.  Ser. i. ous.

The trim on the ceiling....killer.

I only got a few shots of the DR designed by Amy Morris but it was beautiful....

Moving into the kitchen designed by Ann Huff and Meg Harrington.

Awesome backsplash.....

The cabinets were designed by Bell Kitchen and Bath Studio.

Loved this floor tile in the master bathroom.  I believe it was from Porcelanosa.

This pretty bedroom was designed by Barbara Heath using more of Clays fabric!

Heading down to the terrace level....

Fabulous space designed by Shayelyn Woodbery.

This gorgeous bedroom was designed by Christy Dillard and Heidi Pierce.

I flipped over the tile on the bathroom floor!

If you are local then please schedule a trip down to Serenbe to see all of this for yourself [Open through October 4th] ....I promise you will not be disappointed!

Before we left that day I had my hair cut and I asked her to style it up for me since I was going out.

She got that big curling iron out and went to town.  I was amazed it was my hair!  Anyway after driving down there and walking to the house I passed by a mirror and thought "who is that?".  Certainly not me because the person staring back at me looked like her hair was on a frizz fire.

Yes it was just too humid out and my hair could not take it.  Got out the trusty rubber band to save the day....yes a frizzy ponytail is still better.

Hate that for me.

ASO DECORATORS SHOW HOUSE 2015

ASO DECORATORS SHOW HOUSE 2015

I am happy to report that my soiree went off without a hitch.

Even the weather held out which made me  pretty darn happy  because I spent all of Friday power washing every stinking piece of furniture.

My arms were so tired.

Since all I had to do was provide the venue I was not in charge of anything else.  But.....my sister ordered these little bundt cakes.  OMG.....

Little single servings of crack.  Crikey I ate one rite out of the box not even worried about whether we had enough:)

Today I have more pictures of the ASO Decorator Show House.  If you have not been there is still time!  It is open until May 10th.

Starting with one of my favorite designers Bob Brown....
I was all over this neutral room....right!

Um....this bed.

Right off the MBR was Danielle Rollins and Bill Ingram who designed the bath.

Cutest business cards ever....

It was a gorgeous room full of toile against some great wallpaper.

Living room designed by Michael Boyd.

It was so good but I had a hard time getting some decent photographs.

The dining room which was done by Randy and Dan of Boxwoods.

My good friend Vern Yip [ha ha] designed the family room and dining area.

Right off this area was the kitchen by Robin LaMonte.  I think it is important to say that she could only upgrade with paint.  I love the taupe color she picked out....it works well with the existing granite countertops.

Upstairs Patricia McLean gave us a beautiful traditional southern room.
Love this Thibaut wallpaper on the ceiling...

Then we come to Melanie Turners room....which I loved.  She kept the toile paper that was on the walls....

The green velvet window treatments were slap gorgeous!

Say hello to this fabulous room by Parker Kennedy.

The Fromental wall covering was spectacular!

I left out many rooms that I just could not get good shots of....so you will just have to go.

Alrighty....girl has stuff to do.  Im down in Florida trying to whip this place in shape before the rental season.
